Foodies Forum 2024
Goal: An opportunity to gather to discuss a topic (like which restaurant has the best dumplings) on a weekday evening. Networking and discussion of nutritional hot topics are encouraged! MAND supports students and registered dietitians from all settings! Schools, Clinical, Private Counseling, Consultants! This should be a regional event for the RDs who live and work within your community, hopefully no one will drive further than an hour to attend.
The Membership Committee is organizing Foodie Forums for the remainder of 2024. Please complete the form below to share your great ideas for a location, date/time, or topic. If you are interested in hosting an event, please let me know!

Foodies Forum Invite for Nutrition Students and MAND Members in the Orono Area!
Are you interested in attending an event with networking and pizza taste-testing!? You are invited to a special MAND Foodies Forum for nutrition and dietetics students and professionals from Maine. The “Foodie” portion of this free event will be a pizza comparison. We will have cheese pizza from local establishments for blinded sensory evaluation, to determine the best cheese pizza in the area! A gluten-free option will be available. Veggies and fruits will round out the meal.
Date: Monday October 7th from 4:30-6 pm
Location: University of Maine, Orono Campus - Hitchner Hall
