MAND Food Security Task Force

The MAND Food Security Task Force is an initiative established in 2013 to work toward ending food insecurity in Maine. We want to use our unique expertise as registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs) to help existing food and nutrition programs meet their program goals while meeting the nutrition needs of their clients.

The task force includes MAND members as well as other professionals working in the field of food security. We are still in the process of defining our program of work, so its a great time to get involved. If you’d like to join this task force, please write to us for more information.  Click here

If you are a food or nutrition program director or board member, we invite you to let us know about the nutrition-related needs of your program. Click here to share your program information.
